Food & Beverage Operations Coordinator

    Are you passionate about food, beverage, and event operations? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? Witchmount Estate is seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Operations Coordinator to support our daily operations, coordinate service delivery, and help drive the success of our restaurant, bar, and event spaces.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day food and beverage operations across restaurant, bar, and event functions.
    • Support hiring, training, scheduling, and staffing efforts.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
    • Manage front-of-house (FOH) setup and service readiness.
    • Coordinate service handovers between kitchen and FOH teams.
    • Use operational platforms (Deputy, POS systems, ordering platforms) to support daily business needs.
    • Lead FOH team during service, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction and handling feedback professionally.
    • Collaborate closely with kitchen and events teams to deliver seamless service experiences.
    • Prepare run sheets, floorplans, guest lists, and event-day logistics.
    • Act as a point of contact when required for clients and vendors throughout the event lifecycle.
    • Assist with marketing efforts and online content updates (e.g., Me&u) for public events.
    • Develop menus in collaboration with the chef for key occasions (e.g. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day).
    • Manage restaurant open dates, liaising with sales teams to avoid event conflicts.
    • Track weekly stock reports and liaise with suppliers.
    • Monitor FOH systems, processes, and maintain brand standards in collaboration with supervisors.
    • Chase accounts receivable (AR) for public events.
    • Prepare and deliver smooth event execution and ensure professional handovers.

    About You:

    • Proven experience in hospitality operations, event coordination, or a similar role.
    • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, solution-focused approach.
    • You will lead and motivate a team of event staff, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
    • You are an inspirational leader with a genuine passion for hospitality.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Familiarity with hospitality software (Deputy, POS systems, ordering platforms).
    • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
    • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
    • Experience working closely with chefs and marketing teams to develop and promote events is highly desirable.

    Bar and Event Staff

    ROLE DESCRIPTION 

    As Bar Staff, you will be responsible for serving drinks and food to customers in both restaurant and events, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and providing excellent customer service. Your goal will be to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they have a positive experience during their visit.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
    • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
    • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage options and serve items to customers and provide information about menu options.
    • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and surfaces.
    • Maintaining bar tab requirements and alerting the supervisor with ample lead time to ensure a positive guest dining experience. 
    • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol, checking IDs as necessary in line with liquor licensing requirements. 
    • Operating the cash register or point-of-sale system, Me&u ordering systems & guests reservations
    • Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed.
    • Engage with customers, offering recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and restaurant.
    • Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
    • Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the Food and Beverage Operations Coordinator.
    • Assist with setting up and cleaning down the bar area before and after service.
    • Clearing bridal room throughout entire event. 
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by the function supervisor. 
    • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor where required.
